HAFCU1 is a separate Samsung filter family

Samsung's HAFCU1 cartridge is distinct from HAF-CIN and HAF-QIN. The family name alone should not be extended to every Samsung refrigerator, because the filter housing and locking design vary by appliance model.

Samsung associates HAFCU1 with replacement cartridge code DA29-00003G. Some older packaging and refrigerators may reference DA29-00003B, which Samsung identifies as an older related number.

Confirm before ordering

Record the complete Samsung refrigerator model and compare it with Samsung's current filter guidance. Then check HAFCU1 or DA29-00003G on the installed cartridge and inspect the connection design before opening a replacement.

Installation fit matters
